about Girls Rising

Girls Rising is a youth-led organization dedicated to helping women who have been affected by gender-based violence and sexual assault through providing resources, awareness, education, and fundraising. Our organization empowers young people to lead conversations about sexual violence through community outreach, school-based programs, and digital education. This is done in tandem to raise awareness and educate others on the legal, physiological, and psychological impacts of sexual violence. We will raise funds to support access to medical care and legal services for impacted women, in partnership with established nonprofits, and create resource kits for women in need.
